Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets.
• Itinerary Planning: Research and book travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
• Customer Service: Provide personalized recommendations and resolve any travel-related issues promptly.
• Budget Management: Create travel packages that align with client budgets while delivering exceptional experiences.
• Documentation: Prepare travel itineraries, tickets, and relevant travel documents.
• Upselling Services: Suggest upgrades, travel insurance, or special tours to enhance the travel experience.
• Market Research: Stay updated on travel trends, destination information, and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Travel and Tourism or a related field is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Travel Agent or in a customer service role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in travel booking systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) and MS Office Suite.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service orientation and ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Multilingual abilities are an advantage.
• Certification in Travel Counseling (CTC) or other travel-related credentials.

Schedule
