Job Overview

• Compensation: Between $56,370 and $127,680.
• Location: Trenton, NJ, United States
• Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract; On-site

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients across the lifespan.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practices.
• Provide direct therapy to improve speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
• Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and techniques to support ongoing progress.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Stay informed about advancements in the field and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• State licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in New Jersey.
• Strong understanding of speech, language, and swallowing disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using speech-language pathology assessment tools and software.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with diverse populations and age groups.
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous.
