We are seeking an energetic and creative Resort Activities Coordinator to join our team in Trenton and Hamilton. In this role, you will design, organize, and lead recreational activities for guests, ensuring an enjoyable and memorable resort experience. Job Overview

  • Compensation: $18-$25/hour
  • Location: Trenton and Hamilton, NJ, United States
  • Job Type: Full-time; On-site
  • Expected Hours: 30-40 per week
  • Experience Level: Entry to Mid-level

Key Responsibilities

  • Activity Planning: Design a diverse schedule of recreational activities, including sports, arts and crafts, games, and special events.
  • Guest Engagement: Lead and participate in activities, encouraging guest involvement and fostering a fun atmosphere.
  • Event Coordination: Organize themed events, competitions, and entertainment for guests of all ages.
  • Safety Management: Ensure all activities comply with safety regulations and resort guidelines.
  • Promotional Efforts: Collaborate with marketing teams to promote activities and events through various communication channels.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and organize recreational equipment, ensuring availability and functionality.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather guest feedback on activities to improve offerings and enhance the guest experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate activities and resources.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality, recreation, or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or recreational activities is preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and customer service abilities to connect with guests.
  • Creativity: Innovative and adaptable to create engaging activities for diverse audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Physical Stamina: Comfortable participating in physical activities and being outdoors for extended periods.

Preferred Skills

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid is advantageous.
  • Experience with marketing or social media promotions is a plus.
  • Multilingual abilities are an asset.
