Job Overview

• Compensation: Up to $85,000 per year
• Location: Trenton, NJ, United States
• Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract; On-site
• Expected Hours: 25 – 40 per week

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Follow physicians’ orders to capture specific images for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure patient safety by using radiation protection measures and positioning patients properly.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and addressing concerns.
• Review and verify image quality, ensuring clarity for diagnostic purposes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document imaging procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist in New Jersey.
• Proficiency in operating radiologic and imaging equipment.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and procedures.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multiple imaging modalities (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI).
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
