We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team in Trenton and Hamilton. Job Overview

  • Compensation: Up to $40,000
  • Location: Trenton and Hamilton, NJ, United States
  • Job Type: Full-time; On-site
  • Expected Hours: 40 per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to established cleanliness standards.
  • Assign daily tasks and inspect completed work to maintain quality control.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues related to housekeeping services promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including sanitation policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate housekeeping needs.
  • Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness.
  • Participate in large cleaning projects and assist staff during peak periods.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations.
  • Ability to use industrial cleaning equipment and products.
  • Excellent organizational and team management skills.
  • Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
