Hospice Nurse
We are seeking dedicated Hospice Nurses to join our team, providing exceptional end-of-life care to patients in Trenton and Hamilton. In this role, you will manage patient comfort, administer medications, and offer emotional support to patients and their families during challenging times. Proficiency in palliative care practices and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Immediate openings are available, and we offer comprehensive training for all hires.
Job Overview
- Compensation: Up to $105,000 per year
- Location: Trenton, NJ, United States
- Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract; On-site
- Expected Hours: 25 – 40 per week
- Experience Level: Entry to Intermediate

Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ conditions and develop comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications to manage pain and alleviate symptoms.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document changes in condition.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Educate family members on patient care and end-of-life processes.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Previous experience in hospice or palliative care is advantageous but not required.
- Certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing (CHPN) is a plus.
- Ability to handle emotionally challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
