Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility to promote independence and dignity.
• Medication Reminders: Ensure clients take medications as prescribed.
• Light Housekeeping: Assist with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
• Companionship: Provide emotional support and engage clients in social activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Monitor Health Status: Observe and report any changes in clients’ physical or mental health to the nursing staff.
• Transportation Assistance: Help clients with appointments and errands as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program and active certification in New Jersey.

Preferred Qualifications

• Workdays: Flexible schedule, may include weekdays and weekends.
• Shift Availability: Day, Evening, and Overnight shifts available.
