We are seeking a dedicated Front Desk Manager to lead our reception team in Trenton and Hamilton. In this role, you will oversee daily front desk operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient administrative processes. Job Overview

  • Compensation: Up to $50,000
  • Location: Trenton and Hamilton, NJ, United States
  • Job Type: Full-time; On-site
  • Expected Hours: 40 per week

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train front desk staff, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures.
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure room readiness.
  • Maintain an organized and welcoming reception area.
  • Oversee reservation systems, ensuring accurate bookings and room assignments.
  • Prepare and manage front desk schedules to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and inventory for front desk supplies.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer service, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Front Desk Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Customer service orientation with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with local hospitality market trends.
  • Multilingual abilities are advantageous.
  • Certification in Hospitality Management or related field.
