Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring compliance with quality and service standards.
  • Develop and implement menus, considering cost control and customer preferences.
  • Manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-effective measures.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise food and beverage staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan and coordinate special events and promotions to enhance revenue.
  • Maintain inventory levels and oversee procurement of supplies.
  • Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Food and Beverage Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and analyze financial reports.
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Customer service orientation with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage operations.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in menu development and pricing strategies.
  • Familiarity with local hospitality market trends.
  • Certification in Food Safety Management or related field.
