Job Overview

• Compensation: $19.10 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay
• Location: Trenton, New Jersey
• Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Contract; On-site
• Expected Hours: 25 – 40 per week
• Experience Level: Entry-level; no prior experience required; comprehensive training provided

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity.
• Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patients’ blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, reporting any significant changes to the nursing staff.
• Patient Mobility: Safely transfer and reposition patients between beds, wheelchairs, and examination tables to prevent bedsores and maintain comfort.
• Nutritional Support: Serve meals and assist patients with feeding, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and monitoring intake.
• Maintain Cleanliness: Keep patient rooms and common areas clean and sanitized, change linens, and ensure a safe environment to prevent infections.
• Emotional Support: Provide compassionate care, listen to patients’ concerns, and offer companionship to enhance their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification in New Jersey.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and moving patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous but not mandatory; we provide comprehensive training.
• Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus.

• Shift Availability: Day, Night, and Overnight shifts available
